One of the most beautiful of British Birds, once common but have been declining at 20% per year since the 1970’s.

According to a survey by The British Trust for Ornithology from 1987 – 1998 there was a 77% decline in the Welsh population; a similar pattern is evident in England and Scotland.

They will become extinct if action is not taken
